About the Founder
NextMove was created by Chris Thompson, an Auckland-based adviser focused on helping people understand where they stand before they take their next step in property, whether that’s a first home, a move up or down, or an investment purchase. The Readiness Score, the suburb reports, and the Education Hub are all built from that same idea: people make better decisions when they understand their own position first and have good information to act on.
Chris is also a registered mortgage adviser, providing advice under Guardian Smith’s Financial Advice Provider license (FSP1002543). His own adviser number is FSP1012174. The Readiness Score is verified through this advisory work, so the factors it scores against reflect real-life context around buyer preparedness.
